Instrumental Lessons

Instrumental lessons are provided in violin, viola, cello, piano and singing. We cater for all ages and standards. Lessons occur weekly on Saturday and are between 20-45 minutes long (usually 30 minutes). Our instrumental teachers are all highly qualified and respected musicians in their field, with a wealth of knowledge to share with their students. Students may work towards Associated Board examinations, scholarship and orchestral auditions, or may simply learn for recreation and enjoyment. Lessons follow a systematic, step-by-step approach in the development of technical and musical skills. Methodological principles have been honed over many years of experience and are based on up-to-date research and literature in music pedagogy.
